“ 2023 ProAm Class Winning car. Known as the Racing Reverend. ”

Had engine and gearbox refresh during last season.

Vehicle Story

Ligier’s JS2 R debuted at the 2018 Paris Motor Show and celebrated the French make’s 50th anniversary.

It was inspired by the Ligier JS2 introduced in 1972, a car described as having superior driving dynamics and the best power-to-weight ratio in its class at the time – a combination that brought much success, not least at Le Mans in 1975.

Quick, reliable and supremely fit-for-purpose, the Ligier JS2 R is not a series production car adapted for driving on a circuit.

It is an uncompromising racing car.

Easy-to-drive, fast and reliable, the cars present an aggressively sporty look with powerful and dynamic lines, and offer an optimal combination of a potent powerplant, race-bred suspension and a chassis designed to bring the best out of both machine and driver.

Exterior

The bodywork is really very straight and in excellent condition, being free from any dinks, dents, bangs, crumples, creases, ripples or folds of note, save for some spidery crazing on top of the front wings.

It’s a racing car, so it’s sporting a few stone chips, nicks, scratches and scuffs as badges of honour.

In addition to the four wheels and tyres on the car, it comes with 12 others.

Interior

This is a serious, ready-to-race, no-compromise track car with everything you need to race, compete and win.

As far as we’re aware, everything works as it should.

It’s good to go.

Mechanical

Everything in the engine bay looks to be present and correct.

The undersides appear to be possessed of plenty of structural integrity and nothing we’ve seen has prompted us to tut or raise an eyebrow.

History Highlights

This car is widely eligible for a variety of competitions, races and events.
